July 4th Japanese Style

From July 4th in Japan

We started off the day on our way to Akihabura. We went without Sensei, but Todd, Cameron and Miki got the subway thing figured out.

In short order we arrived at Akihabura.

It was Akyssa's birthday, but she didn't seem to like the attention. More about that later.

We split up in smaller groups to look around and Haley found my son's favorite restraunt, Go Go Curry.

No way to eat this whole thing. It has a chicken cutlet, a pork cutlet, fried shrimp, boiled egg, two small sausages, katsu sauce, cabbage, curry sauce and rice.

Later we went to Shibuya and Harajuku. I think we were all wide-eyed the whole time.

We made it back safe to the Hotel. It has never really rained on us on the trip, just a few sprinkles here and there.

The group decided to surprise Alyssa and sing to her (again) in her room.
